IconPeople Announces MeshInstall 1.0
NON-PROGRAMMERS CAN BUILD VISUAL
INSTALLERS FOR WINDOWS AND MACOS X

Oregon-based IconPeople, a label of Meshbox Design,
announces the release of Meshinstall 1.0, an
installer creation product for building Windows
and MacOS X installers visually. MeshInstall
is the easiest way to securely package and sell
your content to your customers. It's the perfect
toolkit for content developers of all types,
including graphic designers and musicians.
"Our creative group licenses
2D art, 3D models and royalty free music to animators
and digital production house - there wasn't anything
on the market that let our artists create their
own installers - artists do not want to become
programmers just to license their content," said

MeshInstall has two modes of
operation - a fast and easy template driven MeshInstall
Express dialog and MeshInstall Expert Mode. Expert
Mode gives access to a tabbed set of visual designers.
Once designed, MeshInstall generates installers
for both Windows and MacOS X from the same project.
Other features include:
Screen
Designer. Mandatory and optional screens
let you quickly and easily add a EULA, READ
ME, installer notes, as well as completely
customize the appearance and text that appears
in the installer.
Folder
Designer. Lets you set up folder hierarchies
that then can be associated with destinations
on a target computer.
Destination
Designer. Contains templates of typical
locations on a hard disk for installing pictures,
video, graphical content - including content
for popular 3D programs such as e-frontier
Poser, e-frontier Shade, e-on software Vue
and more.
Validation
Designer. Lets you decide if there is
no serialization, a common password, one or
two part serial number system. Serial number
generator system included at no extra cost!
Secure
Executable Installers. Build standalone
installers (.exe on Windows, .app on Mac OS
X) or player style installers - and encrypt
your installers with powerful, 128-bit encryption!
Compressed
Installers. Reduce your installer file
size with built in support for ZIP compression.
MeshInstall 1.0 pre-release
installers have been tested over the course of
almost an entire year with installers built and
deployed through special offers through Future
Publishing magazines, including .net Designer,
MacFormat, and Practical Web Designer.
